RESOLUTION NO. 06-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE
COLONY, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 06-085, AMENDING
THE FEE RESOLUTION BY AMENDING THE UTILITY CUSTOMER
DEPOSIT TO SET DEPOSIT RATES FOR RESIDENTIAL RENTAL AND
COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTS; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of The Colony established, by ordinance, to provide for all
fees under the Code of Ordinances by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City adopted a revised Master Fee Resolution, being Resolution
No. 06-085, a resolution of the City of The Colony, Texas; and
WHEREAS, after review of the fees contained therein, the City found that it is in
the best interest of the City to increase residential rental account deposits and set a
deposit rate for commercial properties.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Resolution no 06-085 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"RESOLUTION NO. 06-085

Section 2. That all provisions of any resolution of the City Council of the City
of The Colony in conflict with the provisions of this resolution be, and the same are
hereby, repealed, and all other provisions not in conflict with the provisions of this
resolution shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately from and after
its passage, as the law and charter in such cases provide.
PASSED, APPROVED and EFFECTIVE this 4th day of December, 2006
