3.0 REGULAR AGENDA
3.1 Update of International Council of Shopping Center Recon Tradeshow May 17-20
(Terrall): Mr. Terrall said that the group went to Las Vegas with 14 appointments and
about 70 cold calls to make. The turnout was expected to be lower due to the economy
and there were an estimated 30,000 attendees this year compared with close to 55,000
attendees last year. He said that worked to our advantage because the people who
were there were focused and it was easier to get through the crowd to make cold calls
in between the appointments. Mr. Terrall and Ms. Lane are now in the process of
following up, getting information out and will soon make phone calls and try to continue
the relationships.
President Tvardzik called a recess since the weather had gotten grave and sirens were
going off for everyone to take immediate shelter. The board left the conference room
and went to the designated area for weather protection for five to ten minutes.
3.2 Discussion regarding sponsoring The Colony Chamber of Commerce golf tournament
(Terrall): - not addressed.
3.3 Discussion regarding council meeting June 17, 2009 (Terrall): - not addressed.
ADJOURNMENT:
President Tvardzik adjourned the meeting at 7:15 p.m. due to inclement weather and the
electricity going out.
