DISCUSSION AND CONSIDERATION OF A PROPOSAL TO EXPAND THE FRISBEE GOLF COURSE AT BILL ALLEN MEMORIAL PARK - Buck Buchheister, Park Maintenance Manager and Chase Smith, Parks Crew Leader, designed a plan for the expansion of the Frisbee golf course. Chase plays at other courses throughout the metroplex and is very familiar with the sport and course designs. The course they designed does not impact the area where a dog park may be built or the habitat, but it does allow for expansion across to Turner. In their design, the course is now more challenging and the T-boxes are bigger. The PDGA, Professional Disc Golf Association, has tournaments everywhere and usually cost $20 to enter, and that does include a disc. Right now this is the fastest growing sport. There area lot of people from other cities that come to Bill Allen Memorial Park to play; it's common to see people playing there every day. Pam said this can be put on next month's agenda for approval, but a public hearing will also have to be held. 5.
