WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Planned Development zoning for PD-16 on or about July 29, 1999; and WHEREAS, on or about July 25, 2005, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 05- 1604 which established the development regulations for Tract E of PD-16 in accordance with the zoning ordinance; and, WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 05-1604 did not permit hotels and/or extended stay hotels on the property; and, WHEREAS, the applicant has made a request for approval of amendments to the permitted land uses and development regulations of Tract E to permit extended stay hotel uses and parking regulations; and WHEREAS, after discussion and consideration, the City Council has determined that the Ordinance No. 05-1604 establishing permitted land uses and development regulations for PD-16, Tract E, should be amended to allow for extended stay hotels and parking regulations.
