Present from staff: Iris Browder, Donna Bateman, David Dodd Council Liaison: None Absent: Rita Webster, Richard Kuether Agenda Item II Consider minutes from the February 23, 2006 meeting. I Meeting was called to order by Chris Italia at 6:35 pm. The minutes from the February 23,2006 meeting were discussed. Motion to to accept minutes as presented was made by John Fowler and a second motion was made by Ruby Lawrence. (Vote: 4-0) I ~::i~: ~~:~Iinput Ruby Lawrence wanted to know the status of her neighbor's property. Iris explained that three citations were written to the property owner and he paid all three. Iris stated that she would issue more citations. Agenda Item IV Receive training on the Texas Open Meeting Act. Board members and staff viewed the Texas Open Meeting Act video. After the video John Fowler has questions about some situations he had been in. David Dodd explained what would and would not be acceptable. David also stated to be careful when citizens or board members start talking about items not on agendas. Agenda Item V Give staff direction on future agenda items. No direction was given to staff.
