HomeMy WebLinkAbout09/12/06 P&Z I MINUTES CITY OF THE COLONY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION September 12, 2006 After determining that a quorum was present, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of The Colony, Texas convened into work session which was held on September 12,2006 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located in City Hall, 6800 Main Street, The Colony, Texas, at which time the following items were addressed: Commissioners Present: Brian Wade, DeVille Hubbard, Mike Barrett, Debbie Morrison, Karen Hames and Fernando Villarreal Commissioner Absent: Marlene Milsak I W1.0 I CALL WORK SESSION TO ORDER I W2.0 I WORK SESSION W2.1 Receive a report and hold a discussion on consent agenda items I After determining that a quorum was present, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of The Colony, Texas convened into regular session which was held on September 12, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located in City Hall, 6800 Main Street, The Colony, Texas, at which time the following items were addressed: 11.0 I CALL REGULAR SESSION TO ORDER 12.0 1 DISPOSITION OF MINUTES 2.1 Consider approval of the minutes ofthe August 22, 2006 Regular Session. Commissioner Morrison moved to approve the minutes. Commissioner Hames. Motion carried (6-0). Seconded by 13.0 3.1 1 CONSENT AGENDA Consider approval of a Final Plat for The Gardens at Tribute Phase 1. The 25.7929-acre tract is located in the northwest portion of the city west of Main Street and south of future Lebanon Road (FP06-0006, The Gardens at Tribute Phase 1, Final Plat). The 4.8176-acre tract is located in the northwest portion of the city west of Main Street and south of future Lebanon Road (FP06-0007, The Lochs at Tribute Phase lA, Final Plat). Consider approval of a Final Plat for The Lochs at Tribute Phase lB. The 31.0404-acre tract is located in the northwest portion of the city west of Main Street and south of future Lebanon Road (FP06-0008, The Lochs at Tribute Phase lB, Final Plat). Consider approval of a Replat for Lot 7R, Block 2, Garza Little Elm Lake Estates Addition. The 0.207-acre tract is located on Elm Street (RP06-000l, Replat of Lots 7, 8, and 9, Block 2, Garza Little Elm Lake Estates). Consider approval of a Preliminary Plat for Lot 1, Block 1, Potter Addition. The 2.331-acre tract is located at the northwest comer of Main Street and Memorial Drive (PP06-0002, Potter Addition Preliminary Plat). I Commissioner Hubbard moved to approve the consent agenda with the minor corrections noted. Seconded by Commissioner Hames. Motion carried (6-0). 14.0 I DIRECTOR'S REPORT 4.1 Annual P&Z Report The Commission unanimously agreed to forward the Annual P&Z Report to Council for review.
