AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
THE COLONY, TEXAS AMENDING ORDINANCE 97-968 BY
REPEALING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION ATTACHED
THERETO AS AN EXHIBIT AND REPLACING WITH A
CORRECTED LEGAL DESCRIPTION WHICH IS ATTACHED
HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AMENDING ORDINANCE 368 AND
369 BY REPEALING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION ATTACHED
THERETO AS AN EXHIBIT AND REPLACING WITH A
CORRECTED LEGAL DESCRIPTION WHICH IS ATTACHED
HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AMENDING ORDINANCE 97-969 BY
REPEALING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION ATTACHED
THERETO AS AN EXHIBIT AND REPLACING WITH A
CORRECTED LEGAL DESCRIPTION WHICH IS ATTACHED
HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A" PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE;
PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council previously passed and adopted Ordinance 368,
Ordinance 369 and Ordinance 97-968; and
WHEREAS, each of the above named ordinances related to the Austin Ranch
Addition located within the City of The Colony, Texas, and each ordinance had attached
thereto an exhibit which provided the property description; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that each of these ordinances contained an
incorrect property description; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that each of these ordinances should
be amended by repealing the current exhibit attached thereto containing the property
description and replacing with a corrected property description, which is attached hereto
and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS;
SECTION 1. That Ordinance 97-968 of the City of The Colony, Texas, be, and
the same is, hereby amended by repealing the current exhibit attached thereto containing
the property description and replacing the same with a corrected property description,
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A."
SECTION 2. That Ordinance 368 of the City of The Colony, Texas, be, and the
same is, hereby amended by repealing the current exhibit attached thereto containing the

property description and replacing the same with a corrected property description, which
is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A."
SECTION 3. That Ordinance 369 of the City of The Colony, Texas, be, and the
same is, hereby amended by repealing the current exhibit attached thereto containing the
property description and replacing the same with a corrected property description, which
is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A."
SECTION 4. That Ordinance 97-968, Ordinance 368, and Ordinance 369 of the
City of The Colony, Texas, as amended herein, are hereby republished and shall remain
in full force and effect, save and except as amended by this ordinance.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall become effective from and after its date of
passage in accordance with law.
