RESOLUTION NO. 06-060
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE
COLONY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF CISCO CORE
SWITCHES FROM A CATALOGUE INFORMATION SYSTEMS
VENDOR (CISV), TO WIT: MTM TECHNOLOGIES, INC. THAT THE
SOURCE OF FUNDING FOR SUCH PURCHASE IS THE
CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION, SERIES 2006, DEBT ISSUANCE;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE
COLONY, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. That the City Council of the city of The Colony, Texas, hereby approves the purchase
of the Cisco switches from CIS vendor, to wit: MTM Technologies, Inc. in the base amount of
$125,519.00 and contingency amount of$12,551.00 for a total cost not to exceed $138,070.00.
Section 2. That the purchasing agent of the City of The Colony is authorized to issue the
appropriate purchase order to said vendor in the amount approved herein.
Section 3. That the source of funding for the purchase is the Certificates of Obligation, Series
2006, debt issuance.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of The Colony, Texas, this the
10th day of July 2006.
