RESOLUTION NO. 06- O~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE
COLONY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A
TOASTMASTER TAPELESS MEETING AND EVENT RECORDING
SYSTEM FROM A SOLE SOURCE PROVIDER, TO WIT: RUSHWORKS
MEDIA; THAT THE SOURCE OF FUNDING FOR SUCH PURCHASE IS
THE GENERAL FUND FUND BALANCE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas, hereby approves the
purchase of a Toastmaster Tapeless Meeting and Event Recording System from a sole source
provider, to wit: RushWorks Media.
Section 2. That the source of funding for the purchase is the General Fund fund
balance, with the purchase amount being $24,978.00.
Section 3.
That the city manager is authorized to enter into this purchase agreement.
Section 4.
That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas, this
5th day of June, 2006.
