Agenda Item III.
1. Terry Gilman discussed the city's recycling program and answered questions
relating to his topic. The City's Dump Passes were discussed.
2. Chris Spencer explained the Sign Ordinance and compared The Colony's to other
cities. No decisions to recommend changes were made. Committee would like Cit
Council to look at the Political Signs and the Chamber of Commerce to look at
the Banners, Posters, etc. Garage Sale signs will be discussed at the next meeting.
3. Iris Browder discussed issues relating to Code Enforcement Process. Committee
advised Code Enforcement to ask $15,000 form City Council added to budget.
4. Ron Rais discussed actions relating to rental properties. The Committee wants to
request rental property CO inspections back from City Council.
5. Iris Browder discussed public Education. Committee approved the use of Door
Hanger and brochures. It was suggested to use the Door Hanger to advertise the
Dump Passes.
6. Ron Rais discussed the storage of Trash Containers.
7. The date for the next meeting is February 26,2004 at 6:00 PM in the Main
Conference Room at City Hall.
Agenda Item V.
1. Garage sale signs, Temporary storage units (POD), and The Chamber of
Commerce's input on signs will be discussed at the next meeting.
