HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/22/02 P&ZPlanning and Zoning Commission October 22, 2002 MINUTES OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 22, 2002 The Regular Session of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of The Colony, Texas was called to order at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd day of October, 2002 at City Hall with the following members present: Deville Hubbard, Chairman DeWayne Snider Kirk Mikulec Rick Allford Bill Jamme Bill Harrison Staff: Harry Persaud, Director of Development Services Chris Spencer, Planner James Hanvey, Staff Engineer Sandy Vondersaar, Administrative Assistant With six (6) members present, a quorum was established and the following items were addressed: 2.0 DISPOSITION OF MINUTES 2.1 Approval and/or correction of Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes for the meeting held on September 10, 2002. Motion to approve the minutes of the meeting held on September 10, 2002, Commissioner Jamme; second, Commissioner Mikulec. Motion carried 6-0. 3.0 CITIZEN INPUT None 4.0 PUBLIC HEARING Hold a public hearing to consider a request for approval of a replat of Lot 14R, Block 3, Garza-Little Elm Estates Addition, being a .46-acre tract situated in the J. W. Ragland Survey, Abstract No. 1092, located in the City of The Colony, Denton County, Texas. (2002-RP004) -1- Planning and Zoning Commission October 22, 2002 Chairman Hubbard opened the public hearing at 6:31 P.M. Mr. Spencer presented the staff report regarding a request for approval of a replat of Lot 14R, Block 3, GLE Addition located east of Main Street, north of East Lake Highlands. Mr. Luis Domene, P.O. Box 560642, The Colony, Texas, owner of the property was present to answer questions. Chairman Hubbard closed the public hearing at 6:46 p.m. Staff recommends approval subject to seven (7) staff stipulations. A motion for approval of a replat of Lot 14R, Block 3, Garza-Little Elm Estates Addition, being a .46-acre tract situated in the J. W. Ragland Survey, Abstract No. 1092, located in the City of The Colony, Denton County, Texas. (2002-RP004) subject to seven (7) staff stipulations, Commissioner Jamme; second Commissioner Harrison.
