HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 84-10A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE City of The Colony, Texas, committing to reimburse Collin County for consulting work performed to prepare alignment and right-of-way maps for the proposed S.H.121 freeway. WHEREAS, cities and counties along the route of S.H.121 from U.S. 75 to FM 544 have determined that alignment and right-of-way maps should be prepared for a freeway along this route; and WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation cannot prepare alignment and right-of-way maps because S.H.121 is not designated as a freeway in the State's twenty-year plan. WHEREAS, it has been determined that preparation of these maps will cost approximately $29,100 and that the share of The Colony's is approximately $1,236.75; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS, agrees to reimburse Cotlin County for the preparation of alignment and right-of-way maps for a freeway along S.H.121 after being presented with a statement requesting reimbursement for the approximate amount of $1,236.75.
