RESOLUTION NO. 2026- 0'7 '3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE
COLONY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
A PURCHASE TO DEFENDER SUPPLY TO PURCHASE AND UPFIT
FOUR MARKED POLICE PATROL VEHICLES; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF THE COLONY, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas hereby authorizes the City
Manager to award a purchase to Defender Supply in the amount of $349,436.00 to purchase and upfit
four marked police patrol vehicles.
Section 2. That the City Manager and/or his designee are authorized to issue said contract.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.

COLONY, TEXAS, THIS THE 7th DAY OF OCTOBER 2026.
