RESOLUTION NO. 2026 - 011
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE
COLONY, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONTRACT BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF THE COLONY AND ESRI, INC FOR A 3 YEAR
RENEWAL OF AN ENTERPRISE GIS LICENSE AGREEMENT;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE
CONTRACT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City and ESRI, Inc. have entered into a contract for the renewal of an
enterprise GIS license agreement; and
WHEREAS, with this three (3) year contract, the City of The Colony agrees to pay
$42,200.00 per year, totaling $126,600.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The contract having been reviewed by the City Council of the City of The
Colony, Texas, and found to be acceptable and in the best interest of the City and its citizens, be,
and the same is hereby, in all things approved.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the contract on behalf of the
City of The Colony, Texas.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its adoption and
shall continue until completion of the services provided by ESRI, Inc. and it is so resolved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE
COLONY, TEXAS, THIS 7th DAY OF OCTOBER 2026.
