HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 01-37 ORIGINAL CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS RESOLUTION NO. 0 1-37 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION AS AN ADDITION TO THE DENTON CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT FACILITIES LOCATED AT 3911 MORSE, DENTON, TEXAS. WHEREAS, on the 5th day of December 2001, Denton Central Appraisal District delivered to the City of the Colony a resolution by the Board of Directors of the Appraisal District proposing to construct an addition to its facilities located at 3911 Morse, Denton, Texas, with an approximate size of 3,840 square feet, with one-half of said addition to be finished out immediately and the other half to be finished out as the need arises at a future date; and WHEREAS, the estimated initial cost of $378,357.00 would be paid by the Appraisal District from funds on hand in the District; and WHEREAS, the City Council of The City of The Colony finds and declares that the best interest of The City of The Colony would be served by approving said proposal; and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS: That the proposal of Denton Central Appraisal District to construct an additional approximately 3,840 square feet to existing facilities and to pay the initial cost of same out of current funds of the District is hereby APPROVED.
