The Special Session of the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas, was called to order at
6:32 p.m. on the 8th day of June 2026, at City Hall, 6053 Main Street, The Colony, Texas, with
the following roll call:

In addition, with 7 council members present, a quorum was established and the following items were
addressed:
1. Call to Order — Mayor Boyer called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m.
2. Discuss and consider the appointment, evaluation, reassignment, or duties of the
following advisory boards:
Board of Adjustment, Community Development Corporation, Keep The
Colony Beautiful, Library, Planning & Zoning Commission, and
Technologies
3. Any action regarding the appointment, evaluation, reassignment, or duties of
the following advisory boards:
Board of Adjustment, Community Development Corporation, Keep The
Colony Beautiful, Library, Planning & Zoning Commission, and
Technologies
Motion to remove Michelle Potts, Place I from Keep The Colony Beautiful Board —Perry Schrag,
Councilmember; second by Judy Ensweiler, Councilmember; motion carried with all ayes.
Adjourn
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 8:08 p.m.
