The Special Session of the Tree Advisory Board of the City of The Colony, Texas, was called to order at
6:50 p.m. on the 13TH day of March 2025, at City Hall, 6800 Main Street, The Colony, Texas, with the
following roll call:

And with seven board members present a quorum was established and the following items were
addressed:
1.0 ROUTINE ANNOUNCEMENTS AND RECOGNITIONS
1.1 Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:50 p.m.
1.2 Citizen Input
There was no citizen input.
2.0 CONSENT AGENDA
2.1 Consider approval of minutes of November 14th, 2024 Special Session.
Motion to approve the consent agenda — Knapp; second — Mahle; motion passes with all ayes.
3.0 REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS
3.1 Receive update on potential changes to Ordinance Section 17B. - Tree Preservation
Marlisa discussed the updates that staff was looking to make to the ordinance regarding tree
preservation for developers.
