RESOLUTION NO. 2026 - 0'39
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE
COLONY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
A CONTRACT TO CUMMINS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A BACKUP
POWER GENERATOR AND AUTOMATIC SWITCH (ATS) FOR WELL
NO. 4; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas hereby authorizes
the City Manager to award a contract to Cummins in the amount of $835,062.00 for a backup
power generator and automatic switch (ATS) for Well No. 4.

Section 2. That the City Manager and/or his designee are authorized to award said
