They need to update the city of the status of that foster when adopted or if the time is extended in care, we will need a new letter. Stop current trapping program MC: Biggest abusers are Waters Edge and The Tribute: using AS as a pest control service MC: Costing us more money in traps and manpower when we are needed for other calls. MC: Residents are using non skunk traps to trap skunks then expect AS to take the animals. Our officers get sprayed then we must let them go home and shower and change and we lose the manpower at the office plus puts them at a health risk. MC: When you move them 40% don’t survive so we are endangering our wildlife. DJW: Can you limit the calls to 2 calls per year per household. Resident Input: After the 2 calls per year per household, additional calls would be $100 service fee per call. If it is a skunk, they need to be using proper traps, or we will not pick up. BW: Have manhour numbers, potential costs, etc., available when presenting to council. Registering In-Home Doggie Daycares and Pet Facilities 1.4 Announce Nicole Kohanski as the new volunteer Shelter Behaviorist MC: Here 3 to 4 times a week volunteering and working with staff and volunteers on how to properly handle and care for. ◼ Add copy of Bio to Minutes 1.5 Upcoming Shelter Events Galaxy Event – Crypto Movie Stonebriar Mall Event: June 28th, July 26th, August 23, and Sept 27th 2025 TCAP: September 13th and December 27th Bow Wow Luau @ Hawaiian Falls Sept 28th Oct 11th: Dog Truck or Treat – Costume and Pumpkin Painting Oct 18th Lake Lanes Fundraiser Dec 3rd – Dec 5th Santa Paws Photo 4 to 6 pm (Phils Dad) Dec 6th Santa Paws Photos (Duane) 2.0 Consent Agenda 2.1 Approval of Meetings Minutes WG Approved with Changes JW Second 3.0 Citizens Input MC Possible idea of fundraising Tour of Homes Florida Trip: 17-21 or City Council Dias 4.0
