WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 25th, 2026
After determining that a quorum was present, the Keep The Colony Beautiful Board of the City of The Colony,
Texas convened into a regular session that was held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 in the City Council
Chambers located in City Hall, 6053 Main Street, The Colony, Texas, at which time the following items were
addressed:
Board Members Present: Board Chairman Pam De Santiago, Board Vice Chairman Cody Carpenter, Lubna Rizvi,
Jenna Nowlin
Board Members not Present: Michelle Potts, Jane Hughey
Staff Members Present: Danny Dill, Community Outreach Officer; Iris Browder, Community Image Director
1.0 CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 6:01 p.m.
2.0 CITIZENS INPUT
None
3.0 MINUTES
3.1 Approve minutes from, January 29, 2026 meeting
Motion to approve the minutes made by Vice Chairman Carpenter and seconded by board member Nowlin.
Motion carried 4-0.
4.0 DISCUSSION AND CONSIDERATION
4.1 Update on Multi -city Shore Line Cleanup
1) Board member Nowlin spoke with Jesse the event coordinator. He provided her with the following
information. We can set up a booth at the closing event in Little Elm from 4-8 p.m. They will provide
marketing material and use the KTCB logo on all advertisements. They will work with our
communications department to help promote the event. We will try to have statins at Ridgepionte,
Stewarts Creek and The Tribute tail heads. All collected trash must be weighed to report back the
event coordinator. Board member Nowlin will attend a meeting on 3/18 to get further updates and
provide information to staff and the board.
4.2 Discuss and finalize calendar events for 2026.
1) Raptor event 5/26
2) Owl & Howl Prowl 10/28
4.3 board to provide direction to staff regarding future agenda items.
1) Staff to check availability of annex for 5/26 for raptor event.
