RESOLUTION NO. 2026 -.020
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE COLONY,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
WITH SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC BUILDINGS AMERICANS INC., TO CONDUCT
AN INVESTMENT GRADE AUDIT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, That the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas hereby
authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract with Schneider Electric Buildings
Americans Inc., to conduct an investment grade audit; and
WHEREAS, with this contract, the City of The Colony is agreeing to the
services not to exceed the amount of $50,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF THE COLONY, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The Contract, having been reviewed by the City Council of the City
of The Colony, Texas, and found to be acceptable and in the best interest of the City and its
citizens, be, and the same is hereby, in all things approved.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the contract on
behalf of the City of The Colony, Texas, with the terms and conditions stated therein.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
adoption and it is so resolved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
THE COLONY, TEXAS THIS 4T" DAY OF MARCH 2026.
