RESOLUTION NO. 2026 - Oil
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE COLONY,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSTRUCTION
SERVICES CONTRACT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF THE COLONY AND
KAITLIN KENT ENTERPRISES, INC. FOR ROADWAY LIFTING SERVICES AT
VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE CITY; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of The Colony, Texas (the "City"), desires to obtain the services
of Kaitlin Kent Enterprises, Inc., for roadway lifting services at various locations throughout
the city; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that it is in the best interest of the City to enter
into the Contract with Kaitlin Kent Enterprises, Inc; and
WHEREAS, with this Contract the City of The Colony is agreeing to the services not
to exceed the amount of $350,000.00 for such work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE
COLONY, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The Construction Services Contract, having been reviewed by the City
Council of the City of The Colony, Texas, and found to be acceptable and in the best interest
of the City and its citizens, be, and the same is hereby, in all things approved.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the Contract on behalf of
the City of The Colony, Texas.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
adoption and it is so resolved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE COLONY,
TEXAS THIS 17th DAY OF FEBRUARY 2026.
