RESOLUTION NO. 2026 - 00
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE
COLONY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH JURGENSEN PUMP, LLC TO
REPLACE AND INSTALL A WATER WELL PUMP FOR WELL
NUMBER THREE UTILIZING BUYBOARD CONTRACT #770-25; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, That the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas hereby
authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract with Jurgensen Pump, LLC for the replacement
and installation of a water well pump for well number three utilizing buyboard contract #770-
25; and
WHEREAS, with this contract, the City of The Colony agrees to the services not to
exceed the amount of $266,733.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The Contract, having been reviewed by the City Council of the City of
The Colony, Texas, and found to be acceptable and in the best interest of the City and its citizens,
be, and the same is hereby, in all things approved.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the contract on behalf
of the City of The Colony, Texas, with the terms and conditions as stated therein.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
adoption and it is so resolved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
THE COLONY, TEXAS THIS 3RD DAY OF FEBRUARY 2026.
