calls from across the metropler with concerns about the drilling issue. He tined that

Citizen Joan Martinez spoke epressing her concerns regarding the drilling around Lake
Lewisville. Mr. Martinez spoke in support of the city's protest Cousin Lynn Beed
expressed her support of the city, and added her conrnn for the possibility of
earthquakes due to drilling.

Ordinance 99-1129, Cascades Planned Development Ordinance, PD I6, allowing
Townhouses as a land use within Tract B (Development Services, Joyce)
MIM Joyce reviewed the proposed ordinance for the Cascades Planned Development
Tract B of PD 16. The Development Review Committee and Planing and Zoning
Commission recommended approval. Brune Print, Vice President, provided clan fcation
on the proposed 2 story o whi m ss. Mr. Price stated the commodity will not be a gated
community and will have a mandatory home owner's assessment to maintain handsome

Mike Joyce reviewed the proposed developmem plan jor I Hams Plaza. Couadlmember
Wade inquired if the site plan was pushed to the east into the trees. DireerorofPserb and
Recreation Pam Nelson replied yes, part of the way. Ms. Nelson added there will be a
shared shade structure between the big dog and small dog area. The Developmem
Review Committee and Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval.

retail buildings on a 3.67 -acre parcel of land located near the southeast corner of
Plano Parkway and Windhaven Parkway in the Planned Development 22 (PD-22—

reviewed the location, access, parking, elevations, and landscaping_ The Development
Review Committee and Planning and -Zoning Commission recommended approval.

Mayor McCoury, reviewed the proposed ordinance for first reading amending the Code
of Ordirmnces, Chapter 19. Councilmrmber Mikulec asked it the city had an ordinance
on distracted driving Police Chief David Coulon explained that the city does have in
place such an ordinance. He stated the proposed ordinance amendment would be to
regulate the we of hand-held devices, to be more defined for ofrers, and educate
ci! ew providing fair notices to all drivers. Cosmahmember Boyer explained the
proposed ordinance outlies that the amendment k not considered a moving violation.
Counnlmember Moulec asked if the proposed ordinance would be citywide, impacting
