CITIZEN'S INPUT - None. 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF DECEMBER 18TM 2003 - Motion to approve - King; Second - Beckel; motion carried. 3. ELECTION OF OFFICERS - Motion to nominate Richard as President - Briggs; Second - King; motion carried. Motion to nominate Sue as Treasurer- King; Second Sanders; motion carried. Motion to nominate Don as Secretary King; Second- Walden; motion carried. Motion to nominate John as Vice President King; Second - Walden; motion carried. 4. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF FUNDING AGREEMENT BETV~EEN CDC AND THE CITY FOR WATER PARK INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS AND PARKING LOT - The board was pleased that this' agreement states ~actly what their financial responsibility is. Motion to approve the funding agreement between CDC and the City for water park infrastructure improvements and parking lot King; Second - Walden; motion carried. 5. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF BID FOR WATER PARK INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS AND PARKING LOT - The City Engineer is recommending that Site Concrete be awarded the bid. Motion to award the bid for water park infrastructure improvements and parking lot to Site Concrete - Walden; Second - Boyer; motion carried. 6. UPDATE FROM DIRECTOR / ASST. DIRECTOR - FINANCIAL STATEMENTS - Sales tax continues to increase. PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS - Before the bid is awarded to J & J Sprinkler, which was the low bid, Para and Sam have a meeting to discuss some concerns they have. SPRAYGROUND - Two pipes have to be replaced, then it will be finished. SCOUTPONDDREDGING- The project has begun. The fish were taken from this pond and put into B B Owen. Thisproject should take 2 ~ months SIGNAGE - The signs will arrive on Monday and will be installed by Friday. TRAIL MASTER PLAN - There have been 2 meetings to date. The trails will be built in stages. The first stage will start at Stewart Creek Park and go to Ridgepointe, then we will do the easements. We are trying to determine the best way to connect the trails throughout the city. Dennis has contacted Plano, Carrollton and Frisco about having their trails connect to our trails; this will be included in their Master Plans.
