MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING
HELD ON
March 29, 1993
The Work Session of the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas was calmed to order
at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th day of March, 1993 at City Hall with the following Council roll call:
William Manning, Mayor Present
Mike Lynch, Councilman Present
Billy Sharp, Councilman Present
Joe Agnew, Councilman Present
Tom Bogan, Councilman Present
John Dillard, Councilman Absent
Joel Marks, Mayor Pro-tern Absent
and with five present, a quorum was established and the following items were addressed:
1. REVIEW AND DISCUSSION OF THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
IDENTIFIED AT THE COUNCIL/STAFF RETREAT HELD FEBRUARY 12
AND 13, 1993
Mayor Manning opened the meeting by suggesting that only those items with which
the council members have an objection should be discussed. He said if there is a problem
with how the item is prioritized or if the council thinks an item should be deleted then those
things should be noted.
The Council then proceeded to go through the list of goals as presented by staff.
They made various changes in the priorities and deleted some items. Different members
of staff were directed to follow up on various items and responded to the few questions the
council had regarding some of the goals.
The Council requested that more specific target dates be established for each item
and the document be expanded for the next presentation to the Council which is tentatively
set for the council meeting to be held April 19, 1993.
With no further business to address, Mayor Manning adjourned the meeting at 8:21
p.m.
