HomeMy WebLinkAbout04/30/1990 City Council003605 MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON APRIL 30, 1990 The Special Session of the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas was called to order at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th day of April, 1990 at City Hall with t. he following Council roll call: Don Amick, Mayor Absent Bill Manning, Councilman Present. Steve Withers, Councilman Present. Mike Alianell, Councilman Present Steve Glazener,Mayor Pro-rem Present. Dick Weaver, Councilman Present. Joel Marks, Councilman Present and with six present, a quorum was established and the following items were addressed: 1. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Pro-tem Glazener led t. he audience and the council in the Pledge of Allegiance to t. he flag of the United States of America. 2. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF SITE PLAN AS PRESENTED BY T.C.B.Y. SYSTEMS, INC., TO BE LOCATED ON FM 423, SOUTH OF S. COLONY BOULEVARD Mr. Bob van Til stated that site plan, landscaping plan and irrigat, ion plan were included in the council packets and that the Planning and Zoning Commission had met on April 24, 1990 and voted to recommend approval by the Council of the store to be located on the east side of 423 just north of Taco Bueno. Mr. van Til said that Mr. Walls and Mr. McCullough were at the meeting to answer questions. Councilman Manning asked how long before they would be open and Mr. Walls said about 65 days. Councilman Alianell moved to approve the site plan as presented and Councilman Marks seconded the motion which carried with a unanimous roll call vote. With no further business to address, Councilman Manning moved to adjourn and Councilman Weaver seconded the motion which carried with all members voting Aye.
