HELD ON
MARCH 21, 1988
The Special Session of the City Council of the City of The
Colony, Texas was called to order at 6:45 p.m. on the 21st day of
March, 1988 on a tract of land generally located in the southern
portion of the City, just south and east of the city limits and
north of the City of Hebron, with the following Council roll
call:
Don Amick, Mayor Present
Rick Harris,Mayor Pro-tem Absent
Johnny Spears,Councilman Present
Michael Robinson,Councilman Present
Steve Glazener,Councilman Absent
Harvey Bradley,Councilman Absent
Marlene Poole,Councilman Present
and with four members present a quorum was established and the
following items were addressed:
1. PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE ANNEXATION OF THE BELOW
DESCRIBED PROPERTY:
A TRACT OF LAND APPROXIMATELY 33.6 ACRES IN SIZE, GENERALLY
LOCATED IN THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF THE CITY, BOUNDED ON THE
NORTH AND WEST BY THE EXISTING CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
THE COLONY, ON THE SOUTH BY THE CITY OF HEBRON, AND ON THE
EAST BY THE ST. LOUIS AND SAN FRANCISCO RAILROAD
Councilman Spears moved to open the public hearing and
Councilman Robinson seconded the motion which carried with
all members voting Aye. There was no one present to speak
at the hearing. Councilman Spears moved to close the public
hearing and Councilman Robinson seconded the motion which
carried with all members voting Aye.
Councilman Robinson then moved to adjourn the meeting and
Councilman Spears seconded the motion, which carried with
all members voting Aye.
Mayor Amick adjourned the meeting at 6:47 p.m.
