HomeMy WebLinkAbout07/07/1986 City Council-SS MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON JULY 7, 1986 The REGULAR SESSION of the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas was called to order at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th day of July, 1986, on a tract of land generally located north of the corporate limits of the city adjacent to Squires Drive, with ~he fOllowing ~m~mbers in-attendance Larry D. Sample Mayor Rick Harris Councilman David W. Dye, III Councilman Marlene Poole Councilman and with Councilmen, Amick, Arrambide, and Bradley, absent a-_;Cl~orum was established and the following item was addressed: 1. PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE ANNEXATION OF A TRACT OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH OF THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, SITUATED ADJACENT TO SQUIRES DRIVE, BEING APPROXIMATELY 50 ACRES IN SIZE AND KNOWN AS THE B.B.OWENS TRACT Councilman Poole moved to open the Public Hearing and Councilman Dye seconded the motion which carried with all members voting Aye. Janice Carroll did present the service plan and with no further discussion Councilman Poole moved to close the Public Hearing and Councilman Dye seconded the motion which carried with all members voting Aye. Councilman Harris moved to adjourn the meeting and Councilman Dye seconded the motion, which carried with all members voting Aye.
