HomeMy WebLinkAbout06/02/1986 City Council-SS MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON JUNE 2, 1986 The REGULAR SESSION of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Pro-rem Amick at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd day of June, 1986 on a tract of land generally located west of the corporate limits and north of Stewarts Creek Park, known as the Beach and Tennis Club, at which time, the following members were in attendance: Larry D. Sample Mayor (absent due to business) Don Amick Mayor Pro-tem Rick Harris Councilman Tom Arrambide Councilman (absent due to business) David W. Dye, III Councilman Harvey Bradley Councilman Marlene Poole Councilman(absent due to business) with Mayor Sample and Councilpersons Arrambide and Poole absent, there was a quorum established and the following item was addressed: 1. PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE ANENXATION OF A TRACT OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED WEST OF THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY AND NORTH OF STEWARTS CREEK PARK, KNOWN AS THE BEACH AND TENNIS CLUB. Councilman Harris moved to open the Public Hearing and Council- man Bradley seconded the motion which carried with all members voting Aye. There was no discussion regarding the subject. City manager Janice Carroll presented the service plan for the property. Councilman Harris moved to close the Public Hearing and Councilman Bradley seconded the motion which carried with all members voting Aye. Councilman Harris moved to adjourn the meeting and Councilman Bradley seconded the motion which carried with all members voting Aye.
