HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/14/1985 City Council 00214 MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 14, 1985 The SPECIAL SESSION of the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas was called to order at 7:00 p.m. at a location generally situated in the southeast portion of the corporate limits, adjacent to and crossing the Burlington Northern Railroad, with the following members present: Larry D..Sample Mayor Tom Arrambide Councilman Helen Gray Councilman Don Amick Councilman Charles Dodds Councilman and with Councilman Harris and Councilman Poole absent due to personal business, however a quorum was established. 1. PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE ANNEXATION OF A 53.1 ACRE TRACT OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED IN THE SOUTH- EAST PORTION OF THE CORPORATE LIMITS, ADJACENT TO AND CROSS- ING THE BURLINGTON NORTHERN RAILROAD, AS REQUESTED BY HENRY BILLINGSLEY. Councilman Dodds moved~to'open:the~Pubtic Hearingwith-a:sec°nd from Councilman Amick. The motion carried with all members voting Aye. Janice Carroll presented the Service Plan for this area. There was no further discussion. Councilman Dodds moved to close the Public Hearing and Councilman Amick seconded the motion which carried with all members voting Aye. With no further business to address, Councilman Dodds moved to adjourn the meeting. Councilman Arrambide seconded the motion which carried with all members voting Aye.
