HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 90-18 CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS · RESOLUTION NO. 90-18 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS RECOGNIZING AND SUPPORTING THE CONCERNS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LEWISVILLE REGARDING THE PROPOSED 1990-91 PERSONNEL BUDGET OF THE DENTON CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City of The Colony provides funding to Denton Central Appraisal District for budgetary expenditures; and WHEREAS, it is desirable that Denton Central Appraisal District maintain expenditures at a level consistent with that of the City of The Colony; and WHEREAS, the City of The Colony is placed in a position of budgetary constraints due to escalating costs of services and declining revenue; and WHEREAS, the City will be forced to evaluate any additional personnel benefits; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas: That the City Council of the City of The Colony hereby supports the position of the City Council of the City of Lewisville, requesting to re-evaluate the proposed personnel benefits package increase of the Denton Central Appraisal District.
