HELD ON
DECEMBER 9, 1980
A REGULAR MEETING of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
The Colony was called to order at 7:30 p.m. with the following members
present:
Frank Henry Member
Jeff Zimmerman Member
Kerry Schuck Member
and although Chairman Judy Oaks was absent, a quorum was established.
1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Member Zimmerman moved to approve the minutes of the meetings of
November 4 and November 18, 1980. Seconded by Member SchUck, the motion
was passed by the following vote:
Ayes: All members present voted aye
Noes: None
2. CONTINUANCE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING ZONING CHANGE REQUEST ON
A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED ON PAIGE ROAD BETWEEN KISOR AND YAGER DRIVES
FROM AN OFFICE 1 CLASSIFICATION TO A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT,
AS REQUESTED BY DR. KEVIN SEIDLER
Member Schuck moved to table this public hearing. Seconded by Member
Henry, the motion was passed by the following vote:
Ayes: All members present voted aye
Noes: None
3. PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING ZONING CHANGE REQUEST ON SINGLE FAMILY
LOTS LOCATED IN COLONY SUBDIVISION NO. 23 AND IN COLONY SUBDIVISION
NO. 25 FROM A SINGLE FAMILY CLASSIFICATION TO A DUPLEX CLASSIFICA-
TION, AS REQUESTED BY FOX & JACOBS, INC.
Member Zimmerman moved to open this public hearing. Seconded by Member
Schuck, the motion was passed by the following vote:
Ayes: All members present voted aye
Noes: None
There were comments from city staff present as well as Fox & Jacobs.
After discussion, Member Zimmerman moved to close the public hearing.
Seconded by Member Henry, the motion was paased by the following vote:
Ayes: All members present voted aye
Noes: None
4. REVIEW AND STUDY OF PROPOSED SIGN ORDINANCE
Member Henry made the motion to table this until a fUture meeting. Seconded
by Member Zirmnerman, the motion was passed by the following vote:
Ayes: All members present voted aye
Noes: None
There being no further action to be taken, the meeting was adjourned.
Member Zimmerman made the motion to adjourn. Seconded by Member Henry,
the motion was passed by the following vote:
Ayes: All members present voted aye
Noes: None
