OF THE CITY OF THE COLONY
~LD ON NOVEMBER 28, 1989
A REGULAR SESSION of the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of
The Colony, Texas, was called to order at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, 5151
N. Colony Blvd., with the following Members in attendance:
Agnes Foster Vice-Chairperson
Robert Doss Member
Lewis Jue Member
Billy Owens Member
with Chairman Vanderburg, Member Marin and Member Snider absent, how-
ever, a quorum was established. Also in attendance were Councilman
Weaver; Bob van Til, Administrative Staff Planner; Kay Corrales, Re-
cording Secretary; at which time the following items were discussed:
1. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE NOVEMBER 14, 1989 MEETING.
Member Jue asked that Item 4 - the 15 hole golf course be corrected
to a 18 hole golf course and that it be corrected that just the 18
hole golf course would be on Corp land. With these noted correc-
tions, Member Doss made a motion that the minutes be approved.
Member Owens seconded and the motion carried.
2. CITIZEN INPUT
None at this time.
3. REVIEW AND CONSIDERATION REGARDING A REQUEST BY THE CITY OF THE
COLONY, TEXAS, TO HAVE SECTION 17-104 OF APPENDIX A-ZONING AMENDED;
RELATED TO LANDSCAPING REQUIREMENTS OF THE SITE PLAN PROCESS.
Member Doss asked if all the Commissioners had been present and
heard Bob van Til's explanation of this amendment. All of the
Members present stated they had. Member Doss made a motion to
recommend to the City Council that Section 17-104 be amended
to include, specifically, MF 1,2,3,4, PD, P, 01, 2, NS, SC, LC,
HC, I and BP districts. Member Owens seconded and the motion
carried with all Memebrs voting aye.
With no further items to discuss, Member Doss made a motion to adjourn.
Member Owens seconded and the motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
