HomeMy WebLinkAbout04/27/04 P&ZPlanning and Zoning Commission April 27, 2004 MINUTES OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON APRIL 27, 2004 The Regular Session of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of The Colony, Texas was called to order at 6:30 p.m. on the 27th day of April, 2004 at City Hall with the following members present: Bill Jamme, Chairman Marlene Milsak Deville Hubbard Brian Wade Kirk Mikulec Absent: Michael Barrett - Business Bill Harrison - Business Staff: Chris Spencer, Planner James Hanvey, StaffEngineer Para Nelson, Director of Community Services Sandy Vondersaar, Administrative Assistant With five (5) P & Z members present, a quorum was established and the following items were addressed: 2.0 DISPOSITION OF MINUTES 2.1 Approval and/or correction of Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes for the meeting held on April 13, 2004. Motion to approve the minutes of the meeting held on April 13, 2004, Commissioner Milsak; second, Commissioner Hubbard. Motion carried 5-0. 3.0 CITIZEN INPUT None 4.0 ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION -1- Planning and Zoning Commission April 27, 2004 4.1 Consider a request for approval of a Final Plat for Lot 1, Block 1, Five Star East, being a 30.95-acre tract situated in the B.B.B. & C.R.R. Survey, Abstract No. 173, situated on the northeast corner of Paige Road and Memorial Drive, in the City of The Colony, Denton County, Texas. (2004-FP003) Mr. Spencer presented the staff`report regarding a request for approval of a Final Plat for Lot 1, Block 1, Five Star East located on the northeast corner of Paige Road and Memorial Drive. Mr. Brian Haynes, P. E. for Halff Associates, Inc., 4000 Fossil Creek Boulevard, Fort Worth, Texas 76137, was present to answer questions. Staff`recommends approval with five (5) stipulations. A motion for approval of a Final Plat for Lot 1, Block 1, Five Star East, being a 30.95- acre tract situated in the B.B.B. & C.R.R. Survey, Abstract No. 173, situated on the northeast corner of Paige Road and Memorial Drive, in the City of The Colony, Denton County, Texas. (2004-FP003) subject to five (5) staff stipulations, Commissioner Wade; second, Commissioner Mikulee. Motion carried 5-0.
