MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SESSION OF THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
DECEMBER 8th 2016
The Regular Session of The Community Development Corporation of the City of The Colony,
Texas, was called to order at 6:30 p.m.
on the 8th day of December, 2016, at City Hall, 6800 Main
Street, The Colony, Texas, with the following
roll call:

And with all board members present a quorum was established and the following items were
addressed:
1.0 ROUTINE ANNOUNCEMENTS, RECOGNITIONS
Call to Order
Pledge of Allegiance to the United States Flag
Salute to the Texas Flag
Announcements of upcoming civic events and activities 1 -
The Colony Christmas Spectacular -
This event is nightly from 6:00pm - 10: 06pm. at the fire station on Blair Oaks; bleacher seating is
available. The lights are synchronized to music you can access on the 99.9AMstation.
Registration is in progress for Christmas break Kidz Kamp.
The diristmas trees made from wooden pallets are available for sale at the Rec. Center for
$25.00; the proceeds will gd to Metro Relief.
Citizen Input - None.
2•0 _ CONSENT AGENDA
2.1 Consider acceptance of the CDC financial reports for November 2016
2.2 Consider approval of minutes of the November 10th 2016 Regular Session
Motion to approve the consent agenda - Harris; second - Mahle, motion passes.

3.0 1 EXECUTIVE SESSION
3.1 CDC Board shall convene into a closed executive session pursuant to Section 551.071 of
the Texas Government Code to seek legal advice from the city attorney regarding pending
or contemplated litigation concerning damage to the Park hoop Trail matter.
The Board convened to Executive Session at 6: 35pm.
3.2 Any action as a result of executive session regarding pending or contemplated litigation
concerning damage to the Park hoop Trail matter.
No action was taken.
Pursuant to the Texas Open Meeting Act, Government Code Chapter 551 one or more of
the above items may be considered in executive session closed to the public, including but
not limited to consultation with attorney pursuant to Texas Government Code Section
551.071 and Section 551.074 arising out of the attorney's ethical duty to advise the city
concerning legal issues arising from an agenda item. Any decision held on such matter
will be taken or conducted in open session following the conclusion of the executive
session.
3.3 Reconvene to regular session
The Board reconvened to the regular session at 6:5 Ipm.
There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 6:52pm.
