3.3 Receive update from staff and discuss the following items —
Lions Club Pond Desilting Project —
This project is close to completion. Tliej,haiei-eae,,hedthe bottoms aiidai,eciii'r,etitlA,Is,ork-i7igori
the sides to ,stabilise thent .4 change order has been issited.for the channel; the channel is
ex1remeh, clogged! The erosion control matting will help keep the channeltrom getting clogged
and enable the water to flow better. Eve is getting quotes for aeration. The pond will 17c
restocked when the pro,'iect is completed.
Slay/Baker Park —
The nein equipment has been installed and the transfer platjtrrai was replaced because o/
deterioration. The swing -,set has a bend in it so -Eve is getting quotes to replace it.
Park Loop Trail —
The concrete has been poured in the bad spots,' h ' vdro mulching and cican-ip is all that retuains
to be done, The section of the trail that had the had composition test has been i eplaced (it no
cost to as and we will also get a credit,for that.
Stewart Creek Park Playground —
Eve showed samples of the panels that will be oil the new plei'llgTound — trea.sure reap, ocean
research vessel, ship, fish and turtle, and there will also be intetpi,etive signs, Revisions to the
site wark should be back twin the consultant in a couple of weeks. Constriection of the
