Home My WebLink AboutResolution No. 2014-087 CITY OF THE COLONY,TEXAS RESOLUTION NO. 2014- 0'1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A TERMINATION OF DECLARATION OF BUILDING SETBACK AREA, RECORDED ON AUGUST 19,2004 IN THE DENTON COUNTY RECORDS AS DOCUMENT 2004- 110475; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE COLONY,TEXAS: Section 1. That the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas, hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute a Termination of Declaration of Building Setback Area, previously executed for the benefit of the City of The Colony, and as requested by the property owners Crow-Billingsley UMF Plano, Ltd. Section 2. That it is determined that there is now a desire to terminate the Declaration as there is no benefit to the City or the property owners to continue with the Building Setback Area. Section 3. That a true and correct copy of the Termination of Declaration of Building Setback Area is attached hereto and incorporated herein as "Exhibit A". Section 4. That the Mayor is authorized to execute said Termination of Declaration of Building Setback Area. Section 5. That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
