RESOLUTION NO. 2014- dq ,
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS,
AWARDING A BID AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER TO CALDWELL TANKS, INC.
FOR THE PURPOSE OF REHABILITATING ELEVATED
WATER STORAGE TANKS, NUMBERS 1 AND 2; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas, hereby
approves authorizing the City Manager to issue a purchase order to CALDWELL
TANKS, INC.
Section 2. That the purchase order authorizes rehabilitation of EST Number 1
located at 5033 Clover Valley and EST Number 2 located at 5260 N Colony Boulevard.
Section 3. That the city manager is authorized to enter into a purchase order
with Caldwell Tank in a FY 14-15 approved budget amount not to exceed $889,279.00.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of The Colony,
Texas, this 16th day of December, 2014.
