CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS
RESOLUTION NO. 2013-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
THE COLONY, TEXAS, ADOPTING THE AMENDED
CULTURAL ARTS MASTER PLAN, MEETING THE CULTURAL
NEEDS OF CITIZENS AND ENHANCE THE COMMUNITY'S
IDENTITY AND IMAGE, ATTACHED AS EXHIBIT "A"; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, That the City Council of the City of The Colony, Texas, approves
the Amended Cultural Arts Master Plan to meet the cultural needs of citizens and
enhance the community's identity and image ; and
WHEREAS, The City Council finds it is in the best interest of the city to approve
the Amended Cultural Arts Master Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Amended Cultural Arts Master Plan, which is attached as
Exhibit "A", is hereby adopted for the purpose of meeting the cultural needs of citizens
and enhance the commLriity's identity and image.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of The Colony,
Texas, this 15th day of Januai•v 2013.
