HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2012-068 CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS RESOLUTION NO. ) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2012-062 ADOPTING THE 2012-2013 MASTER FEE SCHEDULE, BY AMENDING THE PLAN REVIEW FEE FOR REMODELS, ADDITIONS AND FINISH OUTS AS WELL AS THE PLAN REVIEW FEE FOR ACCESSORY STRUCTURES; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City of The Colony established, by ordinance, to provide for all fees under the Code of Ordinances by resolution; and WHEREAS, the City adopted a Master Fee Resolution, being Resolution No. 2012-062, a resolution of the City of The Colony, Texas; and WHEREAS, after review of the fees contained therein, the City has found that certain Development Services Plan Review fees should be reconsidered; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the Master Fee Schedule, Resolution No. 2012-062, should be amended to amend the following plan review fees for remodels, additions and finish outs as well as the plan review fee for accessory structures. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE COLONY, TEXAS THAT: Section 1. Resolution No 2012-062 is hereby amended by amending the plan review fees for remodels, additions and finish outs as well as the plan review fee for accessory structures which shall read as follows: "RESOLUTION NO. 2012-062 Item Existing Fee Proposed Fee Eff Date Building Plan Review, All Remodels, Additions $50 or 25% of Building $50 or 25% of Building 10/2/12 and Finish Outs Permit Fee, whichever Permit Fee, whichever is less is greater Accessory Structure $50 or 25% of Building $50 or 25% of Building 10/2/12 Plan Review Permit Fee, whichever Permit Fee, whichever is less is greater Page 1 63382 Section 2. That all provisions of any resolution of the City Council of the City of The Colony in conflict with the provisions of this resolution be, and the same are hereby, repealed, and all other provisions not in conflict with the provisions of this resolution shall remain in full force and effect. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately from and after its passage, as the law and charter in such cases provide. PASSED, APPROVED and EFFECTIVE this 2th day of October, 2012.
