1. RECEIVE PUBLIC INPUT ON PROPOSED PARK & RECREATION PROJECTS.
None - no one attended the Public Hearing.
The Public Hearing was closed at 6:40 p.m.

1. STAFF REPORTS -
TX POOL - The CDC TX POOL account has been closed and the balance transferred to
the city's TX POOL account that is called the TX Pool Cash account. CDC's amount
will now be shown on the monthly financial statement.
REPORT FROM 4A BOARD EX-OFFICIO -
They have changed their monthly meeting to the 4`h Thursday of the month. Tom and
Cindi are working on aerial photos for prospects. Sue reminded the board the golf
tournament will be held in June.
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MARCH 15TH, 2001-
John made a motion to approve the minutes of March 15", 2001. Sue seconded the
motion. The motion carried.
3. DIRECTOR / ASST. DIRECTOR UPDATE -
RIDGEPOINTE PARK - The pavilion is here and is 28 ft. across. The fibar has been
added and irrigation has begun. Trees are scheduled to arrive one week from Friday.
WATER FEATURE AT SPORT COMPLEX - This will be a 3-acre lake, 3 -31/2
feet deep for the detention area. Dennis is trying to configure this to allow for the
drainage channel while staying in ADA compliance for the pedestrian sidewalk. We may
try to piggyback with JNC and BCI for construction of the channel.
DESIGN COMMITTEE - Next Wednesday we're going to tour softball, baseball and
soccer fields in Garland, Allen, McKinney and Texas Star in Euless. We will find things
we like and Dennis will show us things we shouldn't do.
4. ITEMS OF CONCERN TO THE BOARD.
Sue is concerned about calling the new complex "sport" and not "community". Pam
reminded everyone that the 5 points of the star represent community, sports, recreation,
environment and culture.
